The Jensen Vandal Proof Swing Seat uses a tough synthetic rubber that is resistant to many forms of damage including cracking. Jensen uses their EPDM (Ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer) synthetic rubber that is made especially for their swing seats. This special mix of durable rubber will not rub off on children’s clothes. Additionally, the color in the seats will last much longer than natural rubber swings. Unlike seats made of polymer, seats made of EPDM rubber hold up well in extreme temperatures, both very hot and very cold.
For improved durability and lasting performance, The S110 seat has a 301 full hard stainless steel insert painted with a non-rusting adhesive, and then coated with rubber that is from ¼” to 3/8” thick. Rest assured, these are the swing seats that you are looking for in your next playground!
