Galvanized welded triangular hardware makes this one the sturdiest swing seats that Jensen offers. The dimensions of the seat are 24” x 6” x 5/16” or 30 ¼” hanger to hanger. It is made with 70 EPDM (Ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer). This EPDM is a synthetic rubber material which helps prevent crazing, cracking and oxidizing. This special mix of durable rubber will not rub off on children’s clothes. Additionally, the color in the seats will last much longer than natural rubber swings. Unlike seats made of polymer, seats made of EPDM rubber hold up well in extreme temperatures, both very hot and very cold.
The S130 seat include galvanized steel triangles and steel plates that are riveted to the seat with galvanized rivets. This added feature of welding each triangle together so they cannot be pulled apart and pulled off the seat makes them extremely durable. Jensen is one of the few manufacturers to take these extra steps to give you peace of mind for your next swingset project.
