Find the way to the top with Overpass play structure. Made up of multiple climbers, children will get a workout without even realizing it. Kids can warm up by sitting in the Double Seats to talk to a friend or playing on the Labyrinth Panel. Once they are ready to head upwards, they can choose one of multiple climbers. Maybe they begin simple with the Rock Climb or the PlayShell Spiral. For kids that want more of a challenge, they can try the Loop Climber that takes them up to one of the highest decks immediately. For the fastest access route to the slide, they can use the Climbing Panel. On the structure, they can look out the Bubble Panel. As they look for a way to reach the slide, they can take the Wacky Wood Climber up higher. However, for those that just want to climb instead of going down the Hurricane Slide, they can play on the Climbing Wall 4.
When choosing a playground it is important to consider where the components have come from. Conditioned wood or recycled metal posts are both opportunities to take part in environmental stewardship. Wood was once a staple of playground design, but as time has continued, it has become less common. But, wood and natural materials make for natural learning environments that can be important for children’s development. Several teaching methods use nature and natural tools as ways to reach children. On the other hand, the recycled metal used comes from items that would otherwise rust away in dumps. The recycled plastic comes from specifically milk jugs. As Americans, we tend to drink a large amount of milk every day. This results in millions of used milk contains every year.
