Bring your outdoor kid town to life with the Post Office Panel. This upright panel provides a space for children to begin role playing. On its own, they can pretend to be the post man or perhaps even the postmaster in their own community. It can be the place where they put their “cards”, “letters”, and “packages” and they play without children. This type of group role play helps them learn team work and how to create a story line with others. Talking through it they develop their speech and language skills. Another wonderful way to use the panel is as part of a trike track. The simple panel can be the perfect backdrop as they work their way around the “town” that they and their friends have created. As they improve their story, they might even combine their vehicles as part of the post office story as they deliver packages to others in their town.
