Swoop through the skies of imagination with the Airplane Panel. A simple panel, kids will be able to make up their own stories about being pilots or taking planes places. The picturesque panel is lined with etchings of knobs, dials, and controls, but the coolest part is the BigWheel in the center. Looking through the windscreen in the front, kids can imagine soaring through the clouds to all sorts of places. The front of the panel features a plump, adorable propeller plane with small wheels underneath. Kids will be enchanted by the playful design trying to immediately incorporate it into their play.
As with most parts of the playground, the Airplane Panel teaches children a variety of social skills. Firstly, they learn to communicate with one another about how to play. Then they have to figure out how to take turns as share. It might even evolve into children showing each other how to use the panel.
If you’re interested in creating more spaces for children to socialize, check out the Puppet Theater Panel.
